I designed “Contemplation” incorporating my favorite lace pattern Frost Flower. The main body is framed by a leaf and lace on the edges, the ends flow effortlessly into the continuation of lace and leaf patterns.

Pattern is in both chart and row by row written instructions and should be an easy project for the experienced knitter.

Finished size blocked, 24” by 68”. Length can be easily adjusted through the pattern repeats. Gauge is not very important as different yarns will yield similar dimensions.

Materials needed include:
1100 yds. Heavy weight lace yarn. Miss Babs Dulcinea used in
model. This yarn has unfortunately been discontinued.
Miss Babs Yearning or Avon are both marvelous alternatives.
#5, 3.75mm. Knitting Needles.
6 Markers.
