Spiral scarf in tunisian and typical crochet, worked from end to end, making it easy to adjust the length. Stacks in hearts and unravels into a continuous spiral.

Intermediate pattern, but not too challenging for a beginner. Afghan hook not necessary, I use a regular crochet hook. Suggested yarn weight is worsted weight, but other weights should be acceptable as look as you use the corresponding hook size. You may need to use a larger hook size for tunisian than you normally would for regular crochet.

Written instructions with chart for shaping. Along with photos showing the more difficult steps.

Stack in hearts and gift a scarf in a unique way.
