I found that the Scout, Heartland, and Shepherd’s Wool all knit at the same gauge - light worsted/heavy DK.

Skills required:
• Long-tail cast-on
• Increasing
• Decreasing
• Left and right twist (instructions provided)
• Simple short rows (instructions provided)
• I-cord edging (instructions provided)
• Backwards-loop cast-on

Additional materials needed:
• Four stitch markers of any type
• Three 1-inch buttons and materials to attach
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
