Contradicting Compromise is a rectangular scarf, knitted in a leaf pattern - one half of it in rib stitch and another half in stockinette stitch (purl side). It would be too plain if it would be knitted just in rib or stockinette. Those two stitches contradicting each other but combining them together brings the charm. The pattern creates beautiful wavy edge along the perimeter.
This is adjustable pattern - it could be as wide and as long as desired. Pattern has written row by row description and chart available as well.
