You can choose the worsted weight COTTON yarn of your choice for this pattern.
Gauge is unimportant - directions are included for helping you get the correct size for whichever casserole dish you are making the carrier for.
Smaller sized hook is recommended (for 3 strands of worsted weight yarn) so as to achieve a tighter woven carrier - one which will serve as a potholder and carrier in one!
Skills required:
Knowledge of and ability to make basic crochet stitches.
Ability to work in the round.
Ability to change colors.
