Convergence: the act of moving toward union or uniformity
This pattern starts with 2 cable panels side by side at the top of the back leg of the sock. The cable panels
then separate and converge again on the front of the leg just before the top of the foot.
Strategically placed increases and decreases are easy to work and cause the cable panels to travel from the back to the front of the sock.
YARN
Sample is knit using Simply Ewe
Fiberworks River Street Sock 75%
superwash merino, 25% nylon; 462
yards/ 422 metres per 3.5 ounce/ 100
gram skein; ‘Golden Honey’; 1 skein
NEEDLES
1 set 2.25mm (US size 1) needles in
preferred needle style for working in the
round or size needed to obtain gauge
1 set 2.75mm (US size 2) needles in
preferrled syle for working in the round

8 sts/ 12 rows = 1 inch/ 2.5 centimetres in
