Convergence
I needed a knitted top for a special event in Japan. The event was in the fall, and I wanted the knitted top to match their seasonal style. Also, of course, I wanted to wear it in the warm climate here in Arizona. I designed a vest with large armholes so I can wear it with a tank top for a cool and breezy look, or I can wear it with a long sleeve shirt.
This tunic has a longer length and narrower bottom. Together, these make a nice vertical line. The drape turtle neck adds a feminine touch. The stitch patterns are a combination of knit and purl stitches. I kept the stitch pattern very simple so that shaping is easier. The shaping is worked with ssk, k2tog and m1. The pattern tells you exactly how and where to work them.
