Convertible Cardigan
Note: Twinkle Handknits Cruise in Big City Knits states yardage as 109yds/50g, whereas new yardage shows 120yds/50g, and cruise is listed as a sport weight (discontinued) yarn in the ravelry database. The book suggests subbing in any DK weight yarn (4 strands together) to get the super-bulky gauge, and another oddity of this is that 2242yds / 2040m of DK yarn is recommended (not for any particular size), which contradicts the number of balls needed in the notes section, which is 25 for size S, 29 for size M, and 33 for size L.
Mathematically speaking, if subbing in super-bulky yarn, yardage should be adequate for the following sizes:
S = 682yds
M = 791yds
L = 900yds

Designer’s Note:
“Sweater is worked back and forth on a circular needle with four strands held together throughout. Sleeves are knit to the underarm first. Body is worked in one piece to the underarm, then sleeves are joined to body. Make all pockets and sleeves first.”
This pattern differs from the one in KnitKnit: Profiles + Projects from Knitting’s New Wave in length, number of pockets, the lack of cables, bobbles, and various other design elements.
