Make yourself a nifty pair of flip mitts. They’re hip, trendy and handier than a pocket on a shirt! Not only can you make these super awesome mitts for just about anyone from teen to adult, but you can forgo the finger portion and make some cool fingerless gloves. The flap portion comes over your fingers when needed and flips back out of your way when you fingers require their freedom.

This knitting pattern gives instructions to fit small, medium, large and extra large hands. From a smaller teen size to man’s large hands.

I’m listing this at a very low price in case you’d like to save yourself the trouble of the ad supported pattern and download it from here. The FREE version is on my website for you to read at your leisure here -

How to Knit a Pair of Flip Mittens or Fingerless Gloves

But more about the flip mitten pattern… These are easy to make if you’re an experienced knitter and know how to knit in the round on double pointed needles (dpn). I haven’t weighed or measured the amount of yarn it took to make these, but one standard ball of worsted weight yarn that you can get at any big box store will be more than plenty.
