The Convertible Garter Vest from The Knit Knot does all of those things! Inspired by my obsession with versatility, this pattern is perfect for the beginning knitter that wants to make something special to keep for years to come. There is no shaping or blocking to be done, and only simple stitches are used throughout the pattern. I have included some ideas of how to wear this vest, but there are countless more, and will look different on varying body types.

Some knowledge of the following would help when knitting this pattern: basic knitting stitches, binding off stitches, casting on stitches mid row, basic sewing skills to sew on buttons.
