Convertible Mittens
by Holly Newton
These fingerless mittens are adorable! And they work up quickly in your favourite, squishy DK yarn! They’re finished with a popover, so they’re perfect for keeping your fingers available when you need them and warm and toasty when you don’t.
You’ll need approximately 200 yards of DK weight yarn for an average (~8” diameter) woman’s size. Check the notes for adjusting for sizes. I myself have knit these in a variety of sizes, going up or down in needle size and/or with a heavier weight worsted or aran yarn.
