Convulvulus Shawl
Please note I no longer sell this pattern. Please visit www.blueammonitedesigns.com for purchases.
This pretty crochet shawl pattern is perfect for single skeins of precious hand-dyed or a good quality commercial yarn. With a basic motif of building rows with longer and longer vertical columns, it’s ideal for highly variegated wools that tend to pool and streak when worked horizontally. It’s called Convulvulus because anyone who has this pretty but invasive bindweed in their garden will know how it winds itself up other plant stalks, looking much like the longer stitches in this pattern.
Super-fast to work up, this shawlette makes fabulous crochet gift for anyone.
