I used Red Heart worsted weight yarn and a size F hook to make this plush relatively “life-size”, but gauge is not important - thinner/thicker yarns and hooks can be used to make smaller/bigger items. (HUGE COOKIE CAT PILLOW ANYONE?? I’ll get working on expanding the pattern….)

I was so disappointed at the lack of Steven Universe designs on here, so I decided that cookie cat had a simple enough design to make a pattern from scratch. Woo hoo!!

This pattern is worked both back and forth and in the round - it starts with a small rectangle and is finished by working around in an oval shape. (Knowledge in Magic Circle not necessary.)

With a standard size Red Heart worsted weight skein (about 250-300 yds), I made about four or five of these and am barely half-way through the skein. You could probably punch out close to 15-20 of these bad boys before you run out of brown.
