LEVEL: High Beginner/Intermediate
FINISHED SIZE: The finished size is estimated as this will depend on the materials used and your tension.
Jar with lid on – 2 and ¼ in by 2 and ¼ in
Cookie – a little less than an inch and a half
MATERIALS:
1. Aunt Lydia’s size 10:
a. Peach – jar
b. Aqua – lid
c. Black – “cookies” sign
d. Ecru – cookies
e. Other Colors – icing
f. Copper – chocolate cookie
g. Fudge Brown – chocolate chips
2. DMC single strand floss (or DMC cotton perle 12, Oren Bayan cotton perle 12, Lizbeth 40)
a. Black – sunglasses (+ light grey for the detail on the sunglasses), mouth
b. Red – Hearts
c. Dark Yellow – Stars
d. Blue – Tears
3. Crochet Hooks:
a. Clover Amour, 1.5 mm
b. Clover Amour, 1.00 mm
4. Other Materials
a. Plastic (lids from yogurt containers, yogurt containers or plastic canvas sheets for the sides of the jar)
b. 3 mm plastic eyes, shank buttons
c. Scissors, sewing needle
d. Clear Tacky glue (optional)
STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES:
Mr – magic ring
Ch – chain
St(s) – stitch(es)
Sl st – slip stitch
Sk - skip
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
FLO – front loops only
BLO – back loops only
WS – wrong side
RS – right side
