This is a very simple and quick project ideal for a beginner crochet toy maker. The pattern is written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos on how to assemble and finish the toy. Stitches and techniques used are single crochet, slip stitch, increasing, decreasing and working in rounds from a magic ring.

Amigurumi are very tightly crocheted toys, keep stitches close together so that no stuffing shows through when assembled.

Cookie and her friend are made in Stylecraft Classique Cotton in Teal and Ivory, but any DK yarn will work great.

The finished kitten is 23cm long from ears to tail.
