Cookie the Monkey - 7 Page PDF

We just love this little firend. He is always full of energy and gives everyone the slip when it comes to bedtime. You may think he will agree to anything for a banana, but be warned, his name gives you the clue to calming down this bouncing baby.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished Monkey will measure around 22cm/8” tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You’ll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• single crochet 3, decrease
• increase/decrease
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won’t need full balls): Walnut 1054 and Mocha 1064.
2.0mm crochet hook
10mm black safety eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Wire brush
Dressmaker pins
Scissors
