Cookie’s Capelet is a top-down, asymmetrical cape/poncho with a cowl neck, worked seamlessly in one piece. It begins in the round for the cowl and shoulder shaping increases, then transitions to flat knitting (back and forth) until the desired length is achieved.

The width of the neck can be adjusted by casting on additional stitches in multiples of 2. Shoulder width can be modified by adding more increase rows, and the length can be extended by continuing to knit until the desired measurement is reached.

I used exactly two skeins of Malabrigo Worsted Yarn in Pale Khaki to achieve the indicated dimensions. If you plan to make length adjustments or other modifications, you may need an additional skein.
