This top can be worn as a summer top when it is sunny and warm, or as a vest on top of a t shirt or blouse, for cooler weather.

It is worked from side to side to give it a vertical line look, and then adding a lower rim at both edges (front and back) of the finished piece.

This top is crocheted in two rectangular pieces worked from side to side and then seamed at the sides and shoulders, plus the two edges picked up and added at the bottom of both front and back.
