Cool spring slipover is feminine and basic slipover with a deep Vneck. It can be worn in several ways, with your summer dress, over a shirt or on top of your favorite basic t-shirt.
Cool spring slipover is worked top-down. It is knitted from the neck, where you pick up stitches for the shoulders and thereby forming the yoke and neckline. Stitches are picked up for the rib along the neck. The slipover is free of weaving in ends.
The slipover is knitted on 4 mm needles except for the rib segments, which are knitted on 3 mm needles. The back and front pieces are knitted flat. The rest of the slipover is knitted in the round including the rib in the neck. Knit with selvedge stitches in the armholes.
Methods like the provisional cast on and tubular bind-off are used.
The slipover has a positive ease of 0-8 cm. Measure your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) to find the right size. E.g. your bust circumference is 98 cm, choose size M.
Make sure the tension is correct. Knit a swatch before you start to find the right needle size. The gauge is stated AFTER washing. The suggested yarn changes when washed.
