Cooper Blanket
SIZE: ~40” x 40”
YARN
I recommend a #4 Worsted Weight. Using lighter weight yarn would result in a smaller project, but you can just add extra border rows.
For my original project I used:
Main Color (MC) – Lion Brand Jeans – Classic – 3 balls
Contrast A – Lion Brand Jeans – Faded – 1 ball
Contrast B – Lion Brand Jeans – Top Stitch – 1 ball
Contrast C – Lion Brand Heartland – Acadia 1 ball
I’ve also worked this up in Red Heart Super Saver & Caron One Pound. For those yarns the approximate amount of yarn needed is:
Main Color (MC) – ~450 grams or 750 yards
Contrast A – ~100 Grams or 170 yards
Contrast B – ~100 Grams or 170 yards
Contrast C – ~120 Grams or 200 yards

I used a size I hook for the Lion Brand Jeans Yarn blanket which resulted in a finished project of 39” x 39”.
I used a size J hook for both of the Worsted Weight blankets, which used a combo of Red Heart Super Saver and Caron One Pound yarns. This blanket was 40” x 40”
