This is a cosy hoodie to snuggle down in and keep the chills at bay. It is knitted in warm DK wool and has an i-cord drawstring at the hood, optional thumbholes and a decorative rib at the lower edges.There are two versions, one much plainer with fewer cables but the same basic shape .Sizes range from 1 to 13 years . I have included notes for experienced knitters who wish to make the hoodie in aran weight yarn. This extends the size range to a potential finished chest size of 37”.The aran design has just an 8 row repeat so is very quickly memorised The hoodies have teen appeal as well as being an attractive and toasty warm addition the the wardrobes of younger children. I used a pure wool by King Cole but you could use any good quality yarn of the same gauge and achieve an excellent result.
