I have a thing for minimalism, even though I’m highly unsuccessful at being minimalist. This throw is supposed to capture Rio’s Copacabana sidewalk, which carries a lot of meaning (I can hear the waves, feel the sun on my skin and smell the sea) while using only black and white yarns.

It took me several attempts to get the pattern to work, as I wanted the black and white waves to complement each other and completely cover the background.

Size:
Approximately 70 x 140 cm

Materials:
12 balls of Stone Washed XL Black Onix
12 balls of Stone Washed XL Moon Stone

Crochet hook 5mm

I hope this pattern brings the sun into your life. Let it shine!
