Please note: As knitters have been having a hard time obtaining the correct gauge with the original needle size recommendations, these have now been adjusted to those listed above.

Copenhagen is a pattern for a snug pair of slippers to give you extra warmth on brisk days. You can easily throw these in your suitcase, they’ll take up very little room, and they’ll do the trick if your accommodations are a bit chilly.
They are worked seamlessly, one section at a time, starting with the sole. After you’ve worked the sole, stitches are picked up around the edge which are then used to work the toe and then the heel. Short rows are used throughout to make the slipper fit just right. The top is embellished with a Latvian Braid, followed by a bit of ribbing.
You can use any heavy DK to worsted weight yarn for this project, but keep in mind that a good strong yarn will hold up best if you plan to wear these a lot.

Sizes
6 to 12 mo (1 to 3 yr, 3 to 5 yr, 5 to 9 yr, 7 to 13 yr){3 to 6, 6 to 9, 8 to 12}6 to 8, 8.5 to 10, 10.5 to 12, 12.5 to 14s children’s age, women’s US shoe size, men’s US shoe size.) To fit approximate foot length: 4 (5, 6, 7.5, 8){9, 10, 11}9.5, 10.5, 11, 11.5”/ 10 (12.5, 15, 19, 20.5){23, 25.5, 28}24, 26.5, 28, 29 cm.
These slippers are designed with no ease. If you would like to wear them a little more snug, without socks, I recommend making a size smaller than your measurements.
