Size: One size–customizable
Gauge: 6 sts/in and 8 rows/in on US size 2(2.75mm) in moss
5.625 sts/in and 8.5 rows/in on US size 3(3.5mm) in Butterfly pattern
Needles: US size 2(2.75mm) & US size 4(3.5mm)
Supplies: Stitch markers (optional)
Locking pin marker
Extra needle(s) for flat 3-needle bind off
As Shown: Done to measurements in pattern. This fits my head which measures 23″ around where the headband sits.

Copenhagen Headband Recipe
The Copenhagen Headband recipe is like a pattern, but not quite. I’ve sprinkled guidance and tips throughout the written instructions. There is a schematic, plus eight charts. I’ve got you covered here! Using this format I can more quickly (it is relative!) write up a pattern and get it knitters. This is something I have knit myself, and this has not been tech edited by a third party.

A recipe has all the elements of a pattern, I just get to do what I want–like when I cook. Copenhagan Headband
I named this for the city of Hans Christian Anderson because I loved the skating/skiing figure in the photo, which seemed like it matched my childhood vision of Copenhagen.
