Copper and Spice
by Mouton Rouge
I love cowls; they’re so easy and versatile to wear, and never slip from your neck. This one is quick to make and has an easy-to-memorize pattern.
This cowl wraps only once around the neck but if you have more yarn you can make it longer, to wrap around twice. I only had two balls (210 meters), so therefore a shorter version.
The cowl is knitted flat, folded in half and sewn at the cast-on and bind-off edges. It also has a 3-stitch rolled edge on each side for a nice and polished look.
You can use any yarn that you have; just add more or less pattern repeats to get the width that you like.
Happy knitting!
