A friend of mine had a store bought tote that she loved, but it was pretty worn out. So, she enlisted my help in recreating her bag and this is the result!

Materials
Aran to light bulky weight yarn, approximately 400 yards (I used Cascade Ecological Wool in Antique)
24” OR 47” or longer circular needles for magic loop in sizes US 7 and US 9, or size needed to obtain gauge
Cable needle
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
1 yard cotton woven fabric for lining (optional)
Crochet hook suitable for yarn weight OR 2 double pointed needles in smaller size for drawstring
Sewing needle and coordinating thread (for optional lining)
