I wanted to create a pattern for this style beanie using the brioche stitch rather than the k1, p1 repeat.

The type of yarn, the double brim and the brioche stitch make this hat very soft and extra stretchy! If you use a less stretchy brand/type of worsted weight yarn, please note you may have to adjust the sizing.

Additional Gauge information:
16 sts x 32 rows in 4” x 4” brioche stitch in the round on US 7 needles.
