Be a lawn party coquette in this basic black tube top with a demure-but-sexy twist.  This simple tube is adorned with a lace panel at front center.  It’s perfect for hot summer days, or wear it under a blazer in cooler weather.

This pattern is an example of using simple changes to a stitch pattern to shape a garment. The ribbing at the top and bottom edges provides shaping at the waist and above the bust. The insertion of a lace panel down the front center of the garment acts in place of short rows or darts, providing the same amount of “give” as trickier shaping techniques. Use Cascade Pima Tencel for the nest-to-skin softness and a subtle, curve-friendly stretch.
