Notes
The twisted, asymmetrical shape results from grafting several
picked-up stitches from one selvedge to a single stitch picked
up from the other selvedge, instead of grafting the stitches
one-for-one in the usual manner.
The flare at the base of the openwork cable panel provides a
lovely curve to the brim.
Proper gauge is important for creating the right amount of
drape. Make a generous swatch, large enough to determine if
the effect is correct, neither too loose nor too tight.
