Coquille Shawl
Coquille, or “scalloped” in French, is a name befitting for this pretty little shawl. Knit from the top down all in one piece with simple to follow written instructions. It features simple increases every other row making the shawl knit up quickly. The scalloped edge is a simple four row repeat but it looks amazingly beautiful. Knit it all one color or add some contrast to it.
Finished size measures 60 inches x 21 inches
Uses size 9 US needles and worsted weight yarn
You may use DK yarn if you don’t have worsted and the pattern will work well, just be sure to use the correct needle size for your project.Shawl can be knit as large or as small as you like by simply stopping the increases.
a great pattern for the beginner knitter or for the more advanced knitter.
4 sts / inch is the guage; although it is not altogether crucial on this shawl
