A very simple but effective design, perfect for a cold wintery day, This hot-bottle cover bring together a simple construction and a striking colorwork, knits up in no time, and it’s a good stash buster.
On the construction
This pattern is knitted from the bottom, in the round using the magic loop technique. The stitches are divided between needle 1 (N1 and needle 2 (N2).
Size
One size to fit a standard hot water bottle of 20 cm 10 inch wide, and 33 cm 13 inch tall.
Yarn
Sandness PEER GYNT, 100% Norwegian Wool 90m (98Yd) = 50g (9.75oz), Light Grey, Dark Grey.
Yarn Requirements
1 Skein about 50g (9.75oz).
Tension
22 Sts and 32 rounds = 10cm 4 inch over stockinette.
Needle Suggestion
3.25 mm US3 circular needle or DPNs.
