With this PDF pattern (6 Pages) you will be able to crochet Blub the Purple Tang. You get a list of materials that you need to crochet for Blub, a list of abbreviations for the crochet diagram used and especially the crochet script for Blub the Purple Tang himself. The individual steps are described in detail and lots of individual pictures also clarify the individual steps.
BLUB BLUB, WHAT’S BUBBLING IN THE SEA?
Blub the Purple Tang is named for its blue-purple color. Since it is found in the Red Sea, it is also called the Red Sea Tang.
The Purple Tang has sharp spines on the root of its tail. These are also called scalpel. This weapon is used by tangs to defend themselves or to attack. Tangs rarely attack, however, and only for good reason. So we don’t need to be afraid of Blub the Purple Tang, because there is no reason to attack in our Amigurumi world. And besides, thanks to cotton yarn, the scalpel of our Blub is cuddly soft and not razor sharp.
Did you know that tangs are diurnal and search for food all day long. Because of their low energy content, they are forced to eat constantly. Isn’t that cute?

The tail fin is then crocheted in rows on the body with the color yellow. The dorsal fin, anal fin and the two pelvic fins are crocheted separately with purple thread and sewn to the body. The pectoral fins are also crocheted separately with purple and yellow thread and sewn to the body. Finally, the eyes and scalpel are embroidered on the doctor fish with the color brown.
