Coral Sands Shawl
This cozy, wearable, V-shaped wrap is the perfect shape for wrapping around yourself.
The design starts with a lace edging for the lower and side edges and then decreases are used to create the angles that make the shape.
Lacy stripes of different textures will show off a pretty yarn. The pretty lace edging forms a scalloped edge to complete the graceful feminine look.
Choose 2 complementary colors, or make it all one color for a different look.
The shawl comes in 2 sizes (sample shown is larger size).
Finished shawl is 54 (64)” 136 (160) cm along lower edge and 14 (16)” 35 (40) cm deep, after blocking
Yarn: Swans Island Sport (50% merino wool, 50% tussah silk; 175 yards 160 meters/50 grams): Guava (MC, 2 skeins), Fog (CC, 2 skeins)
Pattern uses about 220 (280) yds/200 (255)m of each color.
Pattern has been professionally tech edited and includes both a chart and written lace instructions.
