Coral Sideways Tank
Coral is the first of a series of summer tops I’ve designed to celebrate our beautiful sunny country and stunning South African hand dyed yarns.
A summer tank with cross-over straps, Coral is knitted with a side-ways construction for a stunning seamless finish. It has a loose gauge in fingering or sport weight yarn for a comfy, draped summer top, which also has some nice structure in the places that really matter. This little beauty knits up really fast and has plenty of challenges to offer the adventurous beginner to advanced knitter – Provisional cast on, Kitchener stitch (tutorials provided), adventurous topsy-turvy construction and insertion of a vertical panel between horizontal live stitches with detailed descriptions and diagrams.
Recommended yarn: Wishbone Gloss Singles or any other fingering or sport weight yarn with good drape and resilience to stretching.
