Coral the Cockatoo
Coral enjoys a simple life in her Australian home with her cockatoo friends; she likes eating juicy fruit by the beach and performing beautiful flight dances on sunny afternoons.
It’s not always easy being the pinkest bird in the flock, but Coral wears her bright colors proudly and never forgets to show them off to lift the mood around her.
The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Coral the Cockatoo measures approx. 18cm (7in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below and working with the “x” single crochet technique (yarn under, yarn over). Make sure to also start the other stitches with yarn under to keep the same tension throughout.
