Corallium Beaded Cuff
Do you have a special skein of fingering weight yarn…one so pretty you hesitate to use it? Or maybe you don’t have enough of it to make socks or a shawl. This was the case for me, and I thought I needed to design a pattern to really show off this gorgeous yarn I had. Thus, the Corallium Cuff was born. It’s different, full of texture and the sparkle of beads.
Multi-colored yarns with short pattern repeats or speckles would be ideal for this, but you can use anything you love.
This cuff has an unusual construction and might not be what you expect. It’s knitted flat using only two double-pointed needles. It’s a journey of discovery, but each step is concisely written, and a schematic included, so you can have a pleasant knitting experience.
This cuff can be knitted to any size. Gauge is not important as long as the stitches are firm. Needle size can be adjusted to suit.
This pattern uses 20 grams of fingering weight yarn which is approximately 90 meters. That should be plenty to knit the cuff.
