Is it a cormaid or a mergi? Whatever you call it, the Corgi Mermaid C2C Crochet Pattern will allow you to make this whimsical under-the-sea pup all yours. A beautiful Welsch Corgi Mermaid sits majestically on a rock with surrounding coral, seaweed, and ocean life. This fun graphgan is framed by a scrolled border. Whether for the kid at heart or a real dog-loving kid in your life, this blanket makes the perfect gift for any pet owner or animal lover in your life. It also makes cute bedroom décor.

This pattern is 90x60 squares and uses Blue, Teal, Orange, White, Purple, Pink, Black, Light Gray, Dark Gray, Coral, and Light Green. Exact yardage for each color is provided in the pattern.

Skill Level: C2C is ideal for advanced beginners. As this project contains frequent color changes, I suggest a slow-and-steady approach. This pattern assumes you already know how to crochet the C2C stitch and can read a C2C pattern, however, a link to a full C2C video tutorial is included in the notes section of the pattern.

A blanket made from:

  • worsted weight yarn will be 68”x45” or 173x114cm and will require approximately 3,600 yards of worsted weight yarn. This size is ideal for a throw blanket.
  • dk weight yarn will be approximately 50”x34” or 127x86cm and will require 2,630 yards of DK weight yarn. This size is ideal for a small lapghan, baby blanket, or wall hanging.
  • chunky weight yarn will be approximately 77”x51” or 196x130cm and will require 3,970 yards of chunky weight yarn. This size is ideal for an oversized throw blanket.
