Corkscrew Scarf
Inspired by the famous challenging “corkscrew” turn of the Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, California. Of course this pattern is much easier to navigate! Garter and slip stitches come together to create an easy no-purl repeat that is reminiscent of tire treading. Knit out of Woolfolk’s beautiful TOV merino wool yarn, the resulting fabric is warm, dense, and robust – perfect to withstand those racecars whooshing by at the track!
Suggested Materials:
1 skein of Woolfolk’s TOV, 176 yds, or approximately 430-500 yds of an Aran-weight yarn.
US Size 10 (6.00mm)
Darning needle
The finished scarf measures to about 8.5” wide and 65” in length. If you prefer it shortened, you may only need 2 skeins of Woolfolk’s TOV.
