I designed this pattern for my brother in law. His family has been farming for generations. He owns a corn roasting machine and vends corn at local events. He is a total corn star!

Size:
One size fits most hands. Size can be changed by adjusting gauge.

Gauge:
Ladies - 32 stitches x 42 rows = 4”
Men’s – 28 stitches x 34 rows = 4”

Materials:
•Yarn: Lichen and Lace Rustic Heather Sport in colorways: Birch 39g/153 yds and Pollen 7g/30yds. Briggs and Little Durasport in colorway: forest green 16g/65 yds.

•Needles: Ladies: US 1 - 2.25mm for the ribbing and US 1½ - 2.5mm for the rest of the mitten. Men’s: US 1½ - 2.5mm for the ribbing and US 2½ - 3.0mm for the rest of the mitten.

I use 9” circular needles; however magic loop or DPN’s would work equally as well.

•A bit of scrap yarn
•Tapestry needle
