Corner Square Baby Blanket
PDF crochet pattern for a corner granny square baby blanket or afghan. A wonderful bright and cheerful gift for a baby or child, this baby blanket is a very simple design that really packs a punch. For real impact, you can use the colours I have in the example, or of course you can use whatever other colours you choose. The blanket works up very quickly, so is perfect for a last minute gift.
To make this blanket you will need 400g of DK yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook. It can also be made in lighter or heavier yarn, with an appropriate hook, to create a lighter/smaller or heavier/warmer afghan. It is quite a simple pattern and should be doable even for a beginner crocheter.
Finished dimensions of example blanket: length, 39 inches (100cm), width, 33 inches (84cm)
