Pattern description

Babies love to be safely snug in a cozy cocoon of a blanket. Because it’s knitted from corner to corner in a stretchy garter stitch, this especially easy-to-knit receiving blanket combines the perfect amount of security with a surprising amount of give. It’s fun to knit, starting with just one stitch. A simple “yarn over” provides both shaping and decoration--and couldn’t be easier! This blanket can be knit in two different yarns--a sport-weight washable merino wool and a worsted weight cotton.
