This pattern includes a tutorial on Corner to Corner (C2C) crochet techniques including increases, decreases, and color changes. I have both hand written and photo instructions included. If you still need help I suggest watching a video tutorial on YouTube but I’m open to answering any questions as best I can.

The pattern also contains a chart for the entire basic Egyptian Hieroglyphic Alphabet (crochet your name!), a simple cartouche you can customize the length of to fit you name, and an Ankh.

I used these to make my name as part of an Egyptian themed afghan (see picture). Other components of afghan are not included with this pattern.

Because this pattern is unique to every person, I can’t give you a size. However, I used a J10 6mm hook and 2 “squares” on the charts come out to 1.5inches. That will hopefully give you an idea for sizing.

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn, but you can use whatever you fancy.
