Corner to Corner (C2C) Great Sphinx
This pattern includes a tutorial on Corner to Corner (C2C) crochet techniques including increases, decreases, and color changes. I have both hand written and photo instructions included. If you still need help I suggest watch a video tutorial on YouTube but I’m open to answering any questions as best I can. The pattern also contains a chart for The Great Sphinx.
I created this pattern to be part of a larger afghan (pictured, but not included) but it can be used for anything you want to create. I use a size 6mm J10 hook but, again, you can use any hook you would like to create a different size.
I chose to use the colors Cafe’ Latte’ and Bluff (Red Heart Super Saver) for the Sphinx. The “sand” and “sky” were colors that I had acquired without labels so I am unsure as to the brand or other details. I would recommend using Red Heart Super Savor of colors you feel would work for those parts also.
I always work with multiple skeins of the same color at a time so that I do not constantly have to cut and move the rolls, so I am unsure as to the amount of yarn needed of each color. One roll of each color may be all that is needed.
Size: 35 squares X 40 squares (mine came out to 26.25in X 33.75in)
