The Cornerstone socks were inspired by the yellow brick road from “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. These fun and easy socks incorporate knit, purl, slipped stiches, wrap and turns, a provisional cast on, and picking up stitches. This is a toe-up pattern with both written and charted directions.

Yarn requirements are 400 yards of fingering weight yarn.

Gauge is 17” to 2 inches in stockinette stitch in the round. There are three sizes: Small 6.5” around, Medium 7.5” around, and Large 8.5” around (measure the ball of your foot and select the size with approximately 2” of negative ease).

“The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.” Psalm 118:22
