Cornish Rhapsody
A stunning crescent shaped shawl with a choice of two beaded edgings (beads optional). This shawls is worked from the top down and shaped using Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Pi formula.
This shawl was the YarnAddict 2011 Mystery KAL which was run in October and November 2011.
The pattern is now available for sale.
There is a choice of 2 edgings. Beads are optional and are added using the crochet hook method.
Materials:
100gr/800m/880yds laceweight yarn
3.5 mm/US 4 needles
15 gr size 8 seed beads beads
size 0.5mm crochet hook
Errata 5 April:
The following info was missing from the original pattern:
Russian Cast Off:
K2, slip both sts back to the left ndl, k2tog, k1, slip both sts back to the left ndl, k2tog. Rep from to end.
Cast off using Russian Cast off.
Finishing:
Weave in all loose ends. Soak the shawl in
lukewarm water. Squeeze out excess water and lay
the shawl on a flat surface. Stretch out to correct
size and shape and pin in place. Leave to dry.
