It is a summer hat, but made of wool it certainly would be appropiate for colder weather.
I designed it because off the pretty yarn I had purchased. But when it was finished I instantly thought off my sister in law, who died off cancer a while ago. She would have loved the hat and especially the color.
And knitted out of cotton it would have helped her with the results of the chemo.
