This is a revision of the Square Motif Belt with Pineapple Fringes. I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. Originally, I used two strands of cotton thread size 8.

Belt is made up of motifs joined together. Plastic corset bones are also used to keep the belt from folding or narrowing during wear.

You may use non-stretch yarn to make a stronger corset style belt.
