Cosmic Flow socks
The Cosmic Flow socks are a fun and easy to knit pair of colourwork socks. They include a pattern based on the popular and classic houndstooth design which has been used by many designers all over the world. After a few pattern repeats you will find you quickly get into the flow of knitting your socks. Using some gorgeous, brightly coloured variegated sock yarn to create this pattern, turns this classic design into something slightly more cosmic and playful to wear on your feet (but a more traditional looking pair would look beautiful too). These socks can be made in any of your two favourite contrasting colour combinations.
These socks are knit from the cuff down with a 2 x 2 ribbed cuff, have a no wrap
short row heel and have an easy two colour stranded colourwork pattern throughout the leg and foot. The toe is finished with kitchener stitch. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knit with dpns).
