About the design

Cosmo vest is a slightly cropped vest with a little delicate dot texture on the upper body part. The perfect vest to throw over an oversized shirt or a top. Do you have an outfit in mind already?

The vest is worked flat from the bottom up. Two panels are worked separately and sewn together at the end. The neckband and armhole band is picked up and knit at the end. Ribbing for neckline and armholes are pick up and knitted at the end.

Sizes
The pattern is designed in sizes: A (B) C (D) E (F) G (H) I, however, it includes instructions for sizes A (B) C (D) E (F) only, because I could not find testers for other sizes. If you would like to (test)knit G, H, I, please contact me here, via email or Instagram.

NOTE ON AVAILABLE SIZES - if you want to knit this or any of my patterns in a larger or smaller size than I currently have published, please get in touch! The only reason it is not available in certain sizes is I couldn’t get test knitters for those sizes and I don’t want anyone to pay for a pattern and knit a size that’s not been tested. So if you would like to test(knit this or any other of my patterns in smaller or larger than is currently available drop me a message and I’ll send you the pattern for free!

Recommended needles
Circular needles: 10mm US15 / 40cm 16 inches and/or 60cm 24 inches
Circular or straight needles: 12mm US17

Gauge
8 sts x 12 rows in stockinette stitch on 12 mm US17 needles is 10x10cm 4 x 4 inches

Skill level
It is an easy pattern and the techniques you will need to know are cast on, knit, purl, 1x1 rib, knit 2 together, slip slip knit, mattress stitch, Kitchener stitch and cast off.
