Cosy Back Roll Cover
Following a recent slipped disc, my back roll was essential. It dawned on me that it could do with a new cover, so I set to work!
This pattern uses the “Aunt Aggie’s Mesh Stitch” listed in patterns, and the stitch is outlined in this pattern also.
It begins with a rectangle, which is then joined to fit snugly over a foam roll, (standard size foam back support roll). The ends are crocheted working in the round, and the edges defined with slip stitches and reverse single crochet.
The edge is finished with a buttonhole border, and with 3 buttons attached, the roll cover is complete, and removable for laundering. I used Cygnet Aran yarn, which is washable to 40 degrees.
A soft, comfortable cover, in a nicely textured pattern, which makes it very cosy.
Enjoy! AG :)
